Day game approach using an Assumptive opener. Infield breakdown
Hey guys,
Here’s a new infield video we took on the last Euro Tour in Budapest. This set is a good example of using an Assumptive opener that leads the conversation immediately into a dynamic, interesting conversation.
Things to look out for:
The Assumptive Approach
My opener “Have you figured it out yet?” works as a baited intro to an assumptive hook. She is almost certain to ask “what?”, so I then choose to assume she is thinking about the meaning of life. She joins in the roleplay immediately and we are having fun, vibing off each other from the beginning. It’s easy to construct a customized assumption to many approach opportunities. Simply making a guess, (literal or playful) about what she’s like/what she’s thinking and stating it. You can draw her into the interaction with a brief curiosity hook. This gives her a moment to respond to your presence and short circuits her usual reaction of dismisal or suspicion.
Transition
No matter what type of opener you use, you must be able to transition away from initial banter into a more direct introduction. This shows that you are here to stay and are not hiding the fact that you are here because you are interested. It’s very casual but still clear. From there we continue to role play.
Logistical information
I start to sew questions into the conversation, finding out her situation -- that she is travelling alone simply for pleasure. She is open warm and telling me what I want to know. It’s all part of the natural flow and mixes in with discussing her personally and relating but helps me to plan how to pursue things and what time/distance constraints we might have.
Qualifying
While leading to the close I qualify her on her volunteered admission that she is spontaneous. I challenge her answer using the QCQ (Question, Challenge, Qualify) framework. She alludes to a some naughty adventures and the tone becomes more flirtatious. She becomes more invested and leads the conversation as much as I do.
Raising a debt and The Close
I invite her to join me that night. Judging by her situation I know she is travelling alone to explore and have spontaneous adventures. So I waste no time and lead her to meet me quickly.
When I forget her name and she remembers mine I raise a debt on my self (This is a Seductive Economy principle) , whereby I have to do something to redress the arbitrary score. When I ask her what she wants from me, she says “we’ll see” with clear flirtatious intent. I then close the loops of the entire conversation, referring back to our personal role plays and shared banter. She then offers more logistical information and is trying to work out mine, as the sub-communication is that we are considering the night together.
The postscript of this approach was that she came out that night to meet me at a club. I introduced her to Robbie from the tour group and dissapeared to coach the others. They ended up having a wild night as described in his review here.
